GearBest Reviews can't all be real?? + Beware of spyware on phones.
After buying a OnePlus Two smart phone from GearBest I would never shop with them again!! I read many reviews and they even got a mention on many decent websites.
Some of the reviews did mention that they are not usually quick on delivery so I did expect some delay but they took a lot longer then they mentioned they would but that wasn't the biggest issue. Once I received the phone I had problems with it out of the box, trouble updating it, slow and even issues with apps on it. After hours of troubleshooting I found that the software that was installed on it was spyware and it had viruses!!! At one stage I couldn't even start the phone.
I emailed them immediately and their response was one of complete disinterest and basically just said that it left them working and to send them proof of issues etc. After what I found on the phone, spyware etc. there was no way I would send it back to them to try to fix. As I am tech savvy I decided to clear the phone myself, re-imaged the phone with legitimate OS and software.
I then ran the latest updates without any issues and the phone now works fine. I have heard of issues like this before and warn anyone buying android tablets or phones from them to clear all unknown software even format the device before use as there could be spyware, viruses or even phishing applications installed....

Do Business At Your Own Risk !!! They Do Not Stand Behind What They Sell
I purchased eight (8) light bulbs from them, four (4) were DOA. The order took four (4) weeks to arrive.
The quality of the bulbs, they are cheaply made. They are E27, 110 VAC dimmable LED bulbs. Three (3) separate correspondence with them, they ask for pictures or videos and to restate the problem. Ridiculous, these are screw in light bulbs that are DOA.
They clearly try to frustrate you so you won't respond. I should have done a bit more homework on this company before I placed an order with them.
I will now have to open a ticket with Paypal, another big pain, to see If I can get a refund. Be warned, do business at your own risk.

FRAUDULENT USE OF MY CREDIT CARD
ON JANUARY 22, 2016 I ATTEMPTED TO ORDER A WATCH USING MY CREDIT CARD. GEARBEST WOULD NOT ACCEPT MY CARD STATING THAT THEY ONLY PAYPAL.
ON JANUARY 28, I DECIDED TO PURCHASE A DIFFERENT WATCH USING A DIFFERENT CREDIT CARD, AND USING PAYPAL. GEARBEST WAS QUICK TO USE MY CREDIT CARD I ATTEMPTED TO USE ON JANUARY 22, 2016. THEY DID SO WITHOUT CONSULTING ME. NOW I HAVE INFORMATION THAT GEARBEST HAS SHIPPED BOTH WATCHES.
I HAVE STATED MANY TIMES THAT I ONLY WANT ONE WATCH. GEARBEST IS REFUSING TO CANCEL THE ORDER OF JANUARY 22, 2016. USE CAUTION WHEN DEALING WITH GEARBEST . THEY WILL USE YOUR CREDIT CARD WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION. THEY MAKE RETURNING AN ORDER A NIGHTMARE,THEY EXPECT THE CUSTOMER TO PAY SHIPPING COSTS THEY REFUSE TO PAY CREDIT THE FULL AMOUNT OF THE PURCHASE THEY REFUSE TO ANSWER QUESTIONS REGARDING ORDERS.
THE LIST IS LONG.
DON`T DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY STEAL WITH BOTH HABNDS
