Gearbest - Liar and scam
I purchased a tablet on gearbest and even opt for fast shipping with insurance. They went quiet for a while and when I filed a ticket, days later they replied the dont have the item in stock and ask me to wait till 20/8/2017 or get refund in store credit.
So I waited and the promised date passed by. I asked again, and they replied that I have to wait another week for the item, or should just choose another item or get instore credit. I was furious and filed a report through paypal. Surprisingly, they replied me back in less than 2 hours (if through gearbest web I have to wait at least a day for a reply).
They agreed to r=give me a refund to my paypal account. Few minutes after their last message through paypal. They send me a message that the item is in stock and if I want it I should closed the case on paypal. (Let me remind u that a few hours ago gearbest asked me to wait another week for them to restock).
What made me mad is that they still advertised the tablet on sale for weeks while i was being made to wait through their lies and automated replies. This is my first and last time dealing with them.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $2.
Gearbest Cons: Are dishonest and untrustworthy, No respect of the paid warranty for delivery insurance, Shipping.
